OVERALL: Downtown Camper has a unique, cozy vibe that swept me off my feet right away. I regretted not staying longer than 4 days. It's a lively hub where locals and visitors mix, and there's a number of great programs. ROOMS: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with dimmed lights and great design. I really appreciate the wooden floors and the multiple seating options from a dreamy window nook to a sofa, chair, and ottoman. The bed is soft and smells good, though it was a bit high for us. The bathroom is lovely, with a heated floor and plenty of soap, shower gel and body lotion provided. I couldn't get enough of the practical design. FOOD: We visited the bar, enjoying the atmosphere and great, if a bit pricey cocktails. The breakfast comes with additional cost, but it filled us up for an entire day. Everything was clearly labeled with a lot of options for various dietary needs, from lactose- and gluten-free to vegan. Rush hour is busy, so it's worth waiting a bit. Snacks are available at the reception.

Very novel concept for a hotel. Provided daily activities (yoga, walks, run and swim, movies) and equipment such as bikes and canoes. The yoga on the rooftop was very memorable and relaxing, whilst looking at the view over Stockholm. The room was large and had a padded window seat which was great for relaxing on and checking out the view of the street. There were communal areas with ping pong tables and a bar with swing seats as well as a recently opened cafe. Breakfast was exceptional with a vast choice of foods and ample choices for those with food allergies. There were separate fridges with yoghurts and milk, and separate tables well stocked with food and well labelled to provide for those with allergies. This hotel wasn't far from the train station, the main sites or the shopping area. The Stockholm festival was on so we were able to attend free nightly concerts close by.

Breakfast was highlight of every morning. Best spread I’ve ever seen in my life! Although the line to check into breakfast was seemingly long, the line moved quickly and there was never a real wait for a table. Want to go back just for the breakfast! Hotel location was extremely convenient, hotel itself was beautifully appointed and we loved every part of it. Rooms were a decent size for Scandinavia. Loved the decor and layout, loved the large window seat. Opted not to have the maid service but they did empty trash and change towels everyday. Hotel bar and restaurant were very nice. Great patio. We didn’t really use the Nest because we had a small child with us but wish we could have it, it was beautiful! Showed up to check in too early but they had a luggage check room that we used to be able to get out to see the city ASAP.

Location was perfect. Right at the heart of everything. Very short walk to both railway station and ferry port. Proximity to station made the transfer from the airport really quick and easy via Arlanda express. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great, quirky in a good way. Loved the window seat! I like the idea of rooms being cleaned only on request for 3 reasons. 1) sustainability, 2) keeping costs down and 3) not having to work around the maid coming into the room felt more relaxed. More hotels should adopt this model. Also I like the idea of paying extra for the swimming pool facilities because, in this kind of hotel, not everyone wants to use them and it keeps the price down and means you’re not paying for something you don’t use. We loved the bar/restaurant with its cosy fire and very relaxed feel. Food was lovely!

Fantastic location - even better than I had thought. Once I saw both areas I was so glad booked here instead of something charming in Gamla Stan. Main pedestrian shopping street right out the back door, mall right out the front door. Metro and tram stop a block away, airport train and central station a short walk. Gamla Stan (the old town) the palace, City Hall, Kingsgarden all an easy walk. Quick tram ride to Vasa Museum, Skansen and the History Museum. Lots of shops and restaurants right at hand. Two supermarkets and the state liquor store right inside the Metro entrance. Comfy bed and surprisingly spacious room with an upholstered chair and lamp for reading.
